Greetings! I have a 1964 700 ADL in .270, that I got as my first hunting rifle. I plan on swapping the Bushnell scope for a Leupold, and putting a nice sling on, but leaving it stock otherwise. It's a great shooter. I had the serial number checked by Remington, which is where I got the date from (6 digit serial number).Image

Got one too Trailhawk. Recall the original ones were finished like the BDL until around 83-84 when the ADL was changed to a satin finish on the walnut with sling swivels added. Bought mine for around $350 new back in 84. Still walnut and a super high gloss bluing thank god. Don't see why more don't look for a good used example of these ADL-BDL made guns from way back. Lot nicer looking and better built than a lot of the "budget jobs" of today. Nice gun and caliber ya got there. Hold onto it and thanks for sharing.
