Happy to be onboard. Retired from USMC in 1989 with 30 years service. Became a freelance news photographer in 1991. Retired from that in 2012. Progression with guns starts at 7 yo learning to shoot on a 22 pump. Trained on M1 in boot camp. Trained on M14 during infantry training. Trained on M3A1 and M1911 in recon school. Learned the M16 when it arrived in Nam. Hated that gun. First tour in Nam was 1965. Second tour was 1967. Third tour began in Oct. 1968 with Hue City fight. Ugly mess. Fourth tour was in 1970 after we knew all was lost. Disheartening and shows why civilians cannot really craft strategy for war fighting. Lots of peace and quiet until 1983 Grenada invasion, a cake walk. Used to carry a 1911. Weakened hands from arthritis drove me to 9mm Breatta. Further weakness brought to compact 9 mm. Finally as my grip and hand strength got worse I changed to 380 pocket in form of RM380. Got it a week ago. Fired it at the range. I like it, and the long trigger pull does not come close to bothering me. So as a new Remington owner I thought I should get aboard this ship. Semper Fi.
