Picked up an RM380 from Buds last week as prices have come way down ($218 + FFL fee less $50 rebate).

The gun was bathed in grease so I gave it a good cleaning.

I put the Galloway spring set in it (hammer spring, firing pin return spring and recoil springs) and hit the range.

127 flawless rounds:
35 American Eagle FMJ
50 PMC Bronze FMJ
20 Lehigh Xtreme Defense
27 Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator

Everything fed, fired and ejected the way it should. Recoil is mild, the trigger is nice (long but not heavy) and the gun is accurate. Very pleased so far.

Picked up a High Noon Holsters Upper Cut for IWB at 1:30. Very comfortable.

At that price, I may need to buy a second one!

I believe that Ruger dropping the price on the LCP Gen 2 has really driven prices down. Even the new LCP II is under $300.

Congrats! I got my RM380 for $225 (less $50 rebate which I should be getting back any day in the mail). I put the Galloway spring set (minus the recoil springs) in mine as well and they seem to do quite well. Much more pleasant to shoot than my Ruger LCP Custom.

Took my father-in-law to the range last weekend and let him try it out and he ended up ordering one as well!

Really like the RM380. Anyone having trouble with that take-down pin falling out or did Remington fix that on later production?

I've not had any problems with my new RM380 at this point.

Had my RM380 for a year or more and have never had the take-down pin fall out when I didn't want it to. No problem with it at all. Have shot hundreds of rounds through it both factory and my reloads.

Sounds good! Looking for a small pocket piece to complement my S&W CS-9. Like the metal construction on this one and the price is inviting. Hope to see them compliant in my idiot state but if not a snubby may have to do. This model seems more appealing to me than the S&W Bodyguard.
