I have sucessfully removed 9 of the 12 bolts but I fear I will be needing to get a little more heavy handed with the remaining 3 bolts

Hi All, I'm looking for a Part Number, if possible, for the small, Button Head Hex Bolt that holds the Side Plates on a Remington Model 597 VTR. As you can see in the attached photo. the rifle has 6 on each plate, one plate on each side of the action.
I have sucessfully removed 9 of the 12 bolts but I fear I will be needing to get a little more heavy handed with the remaining 3 bolts Cheers DaveD

Try Numrich Gun Parts...
They have schematics that may have the part number...and maybe even the bolts. |

Tried Numrich and Brownells both of which have the Generic 597 diagram but not the VTR variant

Have you tried talking to Remington Customer Service...!?
