The problem: after I pull the trigger the action will not allow me to cycle the next shell into the chamber. I have to use the action bar release to cycle the action. I would appreciate any help.
Also, are there any dvds or a complete disassembly/assembly for this shotgun I could purchase.

Just type the Model and problem into a search engine...YouTube will provide Assembly / Disassembly Instructions

Remington Arms Co. did not have a a manual for the model 17. Besides, the manual does not have a detailed assembly/disassembly page.
