Hi everyone. After packing in shooting ( and parting with my guns! ) when the kids came along I've started up again after a 19 year break.

I used to own 3 Remington's , an Enfield P17 made by Remington which was marked September 1917 and was in unfired condition which won me many comps in the military rifle class.

A Remington Nylon which was possible the most inaccurate .22LR I have ever used and thus was sold after a fortnight and a 1100 which I loved and used very successfully for Geese Ducks and pigeon shooting.

I recently bought a 1100 Skeet circa 1978 ish , which cost $150 and by luck is in excellent condition.
Only used it on clays so far and it shoots so , so well.
I will be using it mainly for pigeon and foxes and teaching the boys.

Cheers.

Welcome. Only $150 for an 1100? Practically stole that one! Last Skeet model I saw had a 26 inch barrel I believe. I know Remington stamped Skeet on the receiver.

Yep it was via a dealer. Apparently it was a widow who wanted a quick sale , hence the price.
It has a gas port adjustment screw which I am led to believe was an export only job but I havn't worked out how to adjust it yet.
Stamped SKEET on barrel and chamber.
Cycles 1 oz shells perfectly but not tried 7/8 so far.
My old one used 1oz to 1-1/2 without a hitch.
