Does anyone here have detailed photo's of various Remington 870 or 1100 shell latch? I have a dozen or more of them from a box of parts and some I can't identify. I can tell the standard 12ga 1100 and 870 ones but some I can't identify. I have some that don't have a gauge marking on them and have the blunt tip like an 870 right side but have the strengthening "rib" on them like an 1100 has on it. Could these be for a 878? Others are marked 12ga, have the fine tip and the "step" in the middle like a 870 left side but again have the strengthening rib like the 1100 does.

The same with the stock bearing plates. I've got a few of them but how do you tell what the difference is between the ones for 870, 1100, or even older 58 etc. There's no markings on them either. Thanks in advance for any help on either of these subjects.

I answered this "somewhere else". Another forum I guess. Can't find it now.
