I have found an 1100 that caught my eye for hunting, but my Swiss cheese memory and time are preventing me from recognizing whether this configuration was offered by the factory or not.
Does anyone remember whether Remington offered for sale an 1100 with an SPS style matte finish (including the bolt) with a laminated stock and forearm?

They offered a Special Purpose Magnum in I think '86, but it did not have a laminated wood stock. Then they had an all black matte gun in the '90s. I do not remember that combination.
What could have happened... did.
