I picked up a nice little model 4 rolling block in 22 S, L, & LR caliber. It's in excellent condition considering its age. I shot it this morning and it's dead on at 25 yds. Glad to add this little gem to my Remington rimfire collection. I'll call Remington next week to see when it was made. It has a high serial number in the 350,000 range so it's probably a later made model, maybe in the early 1930's.

Looks to be in very good condition from here. Must be built like a tank! Sure would be expensive to build em today like that! Thanks for sharing a real gem.

Definitely envious! They are a great rifle. Saw a show called Gun Stories on the Outdoor Channel that was dedicated to the rolling block rifles. Great addition!

Well into the 30's that's the highest #4 I believe I've ever heard of as such it's also date code stamped it would be interesting to know the actual date (or code).
Even in 1931 in the 306,000 range they were down to making a couple hundred, sure on that number?
