I went with the Wilson Combat #190 and it dropped right in, it also eliminated a lot of the side to side movement, the factory one had a lot of play in it.

I also went with the Wilson. The original was OK but I didn't like the way it looked.

I purchased a 1911 R1 this past winter and just got to the range. I was surprised by the light trigger. After firing several magazines I had the range check the trigger pull. Turns out the light end was about 2.2 lbs and the high end was about 3.3 lbs. I asked what was normal and the clerk said about 5 lbs. Am I to assume this gun has had trigger work? Its not that I don't like it, I surprised by the very short travel and light pull. Thanks in advanced for your assistance.

I put a Remington enhanced trigger in my R1. It is the long trigger and has the travel adjustment. I have bigger hands so I like the longer trigger, not that the standard was a problem... The adjustment is a nice feature, it gives it a nice crisp feel.

I'm pretty low tec when it come to pic and such. It's the same three hole trigger you see in the enhanced model. Fit like a glove, and it has a nice feel. It's this one. I did find it on e-bay far a bit less.. https://www.remington.com/shop/1911-Tri ... /p/F404136
