I recently bought this for next to nothing at a UK auction (about $50) I have cleaned it up and repaired the beginnings of a crack in the stock. The bores are spotless and the blue is about 95%. It functions smoothly and has one of the nicest auto safeties I have ever felt. It seems to fit me really well and I'm looking forward to getting it out in the field. I wonder if any of the forum members could help date it (serial no 123188) It is a 'B' model, the checkering was either worn or partially sanded off so I removed the remainder and treated with 5 coats of clear Danish oil. I may, if I find the courage re-checker or replace the stock with one from macongunstocks.com in Missouri. I wonder if anyone has used this company?
Regards
Roland
