Greetings all,

I am a shooting enthusiast, like many of you. My daddy had a 30.06 and somehow his disappeared before I could inherit it. So when I saw a Remington 721 at my LGS I snatched it up. As I have been reading and learning from this forum, I believe that the varmit gun my dad had was a Remington 722 in .222. Supposedly my brother in law 'inherited' it. I think I will ask him for it back. He has no interest in guns anyway.
I am from central Kentucky. I don't hunt I just like guns. Nice to be here. I am hope to learn more about this fine rifle. I am also waiting for all the bugs to be worked out of the R-51 pistol. it feels so good in my hand.

Hi. A Kentucky gal with a rifle or two doesn't surprise me at all. Good for you! Hope you get your dad's rifle back.

Missed the thread. Welcome and hope you get that 722 back. Some good quality there and snag any .222 ammo he might have on hand. Edged out by the 223 I don't see it all that often.
