Hello everyone.

Just picked up a 700 SPS Tactical in .308 with a 20" barrel and synthetic stock. Sorry if the picture doesn't come out great, still trying to learn what size to use.



Anyway the reason I am writing this post is to ask for some suggestions. One suggestions I am looking for is scope mounts and rings. Looking to mount my Trijicon AccuPoint 3-9x40 scope with 1" tube.



Do I get a picatinny mount for the most options? Do I get separate rings or should I go with a 1 piece mount. And what brands should I be looking at? I'm not looking to break the bank but am willing to pay $200-$250ish for a decent setup.

The second thing I am looking for is a decent system to allow my rifle to accept Magpul magazines or something similar, are there any options out there that don't cost an arm/leg?

I'm building up something similar. Magpul makes a 700 Hunter stock that takes their magazine system - uses AICS magazines. AICS are a little more expensive than AR magazines, and max out at 10 rounds, but they're still out there.

I'd use Leupold one piece base with scope rings... That's the setup I have on my XCR II.... Very solid mount......
