I think I'm almost ready to order my mcmillan stock for my 260 build. It's a 1964 short action Adl currently at hart barrels getting a 26" 1:8" matte bead blasted 260 remington barrel on it. I think I'm going to get the Htg with an adjustable comb and a 3 way butt plate with pillars installed. I change my mind on color as much as my woman changes clothes. I'm also considering the varminter pattern in a mcwoody. I have big hands and the varmint forearm may feel better. I'd prefer a Monte Carlo cheek piece on either one but I guess I'll have to settle for the raised comb. I'm awaiting an email to clarify a couple of questions I had. I probably only need the 2 way cheek piece. I need to be able to adjust length of pull and I feel if I can adjust the butt plate vertically I may not even need the adjustable comb. Most rifles I find my head kind of laying sideways over the stock. I have a very hard time getting a good cheek weld on some rifles. What options do you guys get on your mcmillan stocks? Pictures are always welcome. Especially if it's a mcwoody

Haven't had to change a stock to date, so I will defer to the membership.
