currently trying to purchase another barrel for my 1100. would like to either get a original barrel so i can cut it down to somewhere between 22 to 26 inches and add the rem choke system to it or get a barrel like the hastings steel shot barrel, tried Ebay and thats a joke,

The only two years that Remington ever offered a 3" Model 1100 barrel with RemChokes were '86 and '87. They started selling the Remington Steel Shot barrel, which is basically the same thing, about the same time and they are still available.
If you get a fixed choke 1100 3" barrel, you can have it shortened and have choke tubes installed, but not RemChokes because the barrel outside diameter is too small. RemChokes are kind of chunky.

There were some on ebay. I recommend Mike Orlen for chokes. Quality work, fast turnaround, not expensive. I will vouch for him or Briley, but Mike is a lot cheaper.
