I have a Gen 2 Kel Tec KSG with Magpul VFG, Magpul MBUS sights and a Crimson Trace CMR201 laser. Put the red dot on the target, pull the trigger and where the dot was a hole appears. Shoots Winchester Triple-X 000 buck real well but Aquilla Mini-Shell slugs are my favorite. Holds 24 + 1 and they run like they were made for the gun.

Not into picks of my guns on the internet.

I had a Gen 1 KSG and my FFL asked me what I'd take for it and I told him $100.00 more than I paid for it. He said OK and I sold it to him as I had stated to him. I realized I messed up when Kel Tec raised the price about that time. So I paid another $200.00 for a Gen 2 KSG to replace it. I won't be selling this one. It looks like all the other black KSG's but shoots better than a lot I've heard of.

It's a nice shotgun !! I have always had shorter ones but wanted a nice one that I could be proud of !! It's a 23/4 to 3.5 inch but I need to find a good type of shell for it ! I have a small arsenal but don't hunt so I would like a good target load .. i put some 00 and 000 through it I liked them .9 pellets and 15 pellets I think I don't shoot it enough to remember! !! I have 4 chocks with it but I wish I could get a mag extension but everything is for the 870!!! Image

I had an ol' Ithaca 37 for a long time, but it was just too much for my shoulder. (and thigh for a few weeks when I slam fired it when I first got it.) So, I sold it.

I figured having a shotty was mandatory, so I picked up a Mossberg SPX.

Such a difference in felt recoil! The range I go to won't allow using shot and slugs can only be shot out to 25 yds. I need to take it out in the desert and see how far it will hit. I have an idea that it'll be farther than I'll be able to see.

One of my first loves was an old shotgun.

There are a couple that I won't part with for love or money. Too much sentimental value to them.

Anyway, here are a few old favorites.

My old Mossberg 500

An old Western Field Montgomery Wards special made by Noble shotgun (pre68) and in 16 gauge and adjustable external choke.

Image

One of the sweetest looking and shooting pumps that I have. Winchester doesn't call them speed-pumps for nothing. The action on this gun is like it's on ball bearings.

My only double barrel. It was a Christmas gift from my wife a few years ago. A Tristar Turkish import, which I am pretty certain is made by the same company that makes the Mossberg Silver ReserveII guns.

It patterns really great, but has some kick to it. Despite the length and weight of it.

Another Turkish import, this one from Charles Daly. It's a 3-1/2" maxi-mag field autoloader. It shoots like a dream and patterns excellent.

When people ignorant of guns make gun laws, you end up with ignorant gun laws.

Now I know they're not so ignorant and it's ATRRITION

My kids were getting into ptmargan hunting (nw arctic alaska) I picked up a well used Stevens 258B bolt action 20 ga that needed a few things fixed first.
The kids had a time of it, wielding that old shotgun.
The other issue was feeding it as it uses 2.75" cartridges.
Its rare finding 2.75" shells here in town, three stores stock shot shells and usually you can only find 3" 20 gauge, seems 2.3/4" is kinda dieing out.
Everybody stocks 3" and most them are steel shot.
Steel is something unhealthy for old 2.75" bolt actions to shoot.
My gripe is yes I can chamber and fire 3" in a 2.75" chamber.
But I have spent hull hang-up issues, them darn 3" cartridges wont fit in the Stevens 258B box magazine.

At one time the only source of 2.3/4" 20 gauge shells was a gunshop up town.
While there picking up more cartridges Id been noticing the dhop had been bringing shotguns, mainly Mossberg Bantam 410 and 20ga.
A few H&R Pardner Pumps in 410 and 20 gauge.
The day I was getting a box of small game loads I noticed he had a youth model H&R Pardner Pump 3" and rated for steel shot, VR, choke tubes with a nice soft rubber recoil pad was marked down for sale.
$269 seemed reasonable.
It went home with me.
The kids and Dad love shooting this new shotgun.
