Hello all . I have just acquired a super nice older (1973) 1100. I am of age and have trouble seeing the front sight. Does anyone know if changing the pinned bead is something I should attempt?

If you do use a padded pliers. Plus tape of barrel so you do not damage the blue barrel. If you do not feel good about doing I would take it to a Certified Remington Gunsmith. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome from MI!!
