Has anyone had luck with putting a larger pistol scope (like a Leupold 2x7) with the larger objective lens on the XP-100 without having to remove the rib? If so, what type and height rings did you use? Hate to buy a new scope and then not have it work.

I ordered a Nikon 2x8-28mm pistol scope and will just have to see how it goes. Will post information when I have successfully mounted it.
