Hello everyone! Im a newbie to the site but definitely not new to the workings of fine Remington steel! I have had several over the years from shotguns to rifles. I recently purchased a 597 22LR rifle and my opinion of Remington has not changed!! I love the dual bolt rails, to me this makes it out shine the Ruger 10/22 hands down. I bought 2 of the 30 rnd Mags for it and the gun preforms flawlessly! I LOVE IT!! The gun is a virtual tack hammer!! Looking forward to reading some posts and talking to some fellow gun nuts!

Welcome to the site. How easy is your 597 to break apart and clean? I watched a youtube video on it once, and it looks fairly in depth.
