I just received an 1100 LW, 28 ga. with a broken magazine cap. Will any 1100 mag cap fit this LW? All I see for sale are 12/20 ga. Thanks.

The newer LTs/LWs utilize a larger detent circle than the older ones employ. I bought a new straight stock set for my LT, and had to get a new cap. You can just use an O ring and that will hold either size. Old style had the longitudinal ribs, newer ones are domed and checkered.
What could have happened... did.

Thanks for the reply. I would like to find one of the old style with ribs, but like my search for a barrel, I'm only familiar with ebay. No luck there.... Again, thanks, Ed

I don't see anyone else with the old style 28 gauge.
