Here's my EDC blade, the Boker Subclaw...

FEATURES:

-Designed by Chad Los Banos
-1 7/8" hawkbill blade
-Overall open length of 4 1/2"
-2 5/8" closed
-1/16" thick
-Weighs only 2.5 ounces
-Made of AUS8 stainless steel
-Non reflective bead blast finish
-Frame lock
-Notched thumb rest and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening
-Texture notched stainless steel handle
-Single black fiberglass reinforced nylon scale and a lanyard hole
-End to end reversible metal pocket clip

I work in an office and my day-to-day need for a knife doesn't extend much past opening up envelopes and boxes from FedEx/UPS deliveries. This little Subclaw is perfect for the task. It's roughly the size of a dog tag and fits perfectly in that little pocket on my jeans I could never find a use for before. As tiny as it is, I think it would make a pretty nasty last ditch defensive tool if necessary.

Nice collection indeed. Like those pig stickers the best. Only got a Puma Skinner from 67 and an S/A dagger from the war but they are both collectibles today. Now if I could only find those baseball cards from the late 50s and early 60s I would be in the chips. LOL

I think the market for baseball cards is not what it used to be...

Think ya got me there Shooter. Friend of mine used to attend card shows back maybe 20 years back and would tell me the prices paid for early cards. Guess the fad is gone except for rare stuff and certain players. Like the Nascar diecast stuff. Prices have dropped significantly in recent years. Made too many of a good thing.

Neighbor had the bug a few years back...has a UPS / FedEx truck coming to his house almost daily...then the bottom dropped out and he can't get rid of stuff even below cost.

That's why I keep my collections related to Guns & Ammo...

My youngest son is in the Army and he told me that they supply him with Benchmade knives. He also said they had a lifetime guarantee which sounded like a great deal. So I bought my other, oldest son a Griptillian and told him to use it often on the job and not to put it away and save it. I told him, everytime you use it, to think about me.
The next Benchmade I bought for myself. It was a Barrage with a serrated Tanto blade. It has an Axis system for quick opening and it works great. It is my EDC. It is a great knife.
The next Benchmade I bought was a fixed serrated Tanto as well and it is a fixed blade called the Nimravius. I did not like the sheath, so I had one specially made by Patriot. It also has a fire starter attached. All together it is a great system for me that can be used when going out to the desert or into the forest.
My next knife will probably be a boot knife.
