I have noticed not many posts on the Rem 600 series. Too bad because they are an interesting Remington 'invention'. I am new to RO and just trying to find my way around. I’ve tried to attached a picture of my latest purchase, a Remington 600 350 Magnum but no luck with that. (too big??). Anyway, the metal is excellent, the stock has a few handling dings but still rates very good. The big issue is the recoil pad. My guess is that an earlier owner got a nasty lesson from his scope eyepiece and decided to glue two black spacers to a white line Pachmayr recoil pad to give some additional length to the stock. My 660 Magnum’s pad is identical to the 600’s Pachmayr but is clearly marked “Remington”. I assume the original 600’s was also. I’ve been looking for a new or good + original Remington for the 600 but have not had any luck. If anyone has a line on where one may be I’d appreciate the info.
If or country ever gets back to normal maybe the gun shows will open back up and I’ll get lucky. Best wishes for this special holiday.

Would love to see some pics, I always like those rifles included the odd dogleg bolt handle. You might need to use a picture hosting sight like Imgur (https://imgur.com/) (they have free accounts) and then just post a share BBS-code link and the picture will display.
