Mine was made in July 2017 and I bought it over Black Friday the same year. After putting my head together with some other R51 owners on the R51 pistol forum, we devised some mods to the mags to make them work like they should. So I made those mods before I ever fired one round through my pistol. 290 rounds later, and not the first FTF or for that matter, no failure of any kind. I have run the gauntlet with every type of 9mm that can be bought (well, almost every type!) I trust it 100% to do it's intended purpose for a CC pistol. I am really in love with this little gun. Couldn't be happier!
