So I finally took the plunge and started my AR-15. On this build, I wanted to go piston-driven for the sake of it being much cleaner. I wound up going with a PWS rifle because I really liked the way their piston is designed. They are made to replicate the infamous AK47.

So far this is what I have right now and the rest will be here this week

I've got a call into Spike's Tactical for a custom job on my 2nd upper. This one's gonna be a midlength with a 16" lightweight gov. profile barrel, low-profile gas block, and a 10" ST BAR rail. Probably gonna take a few months to get it, but it'll be worth it...

I was thinking of either just sanding them down and spray painting it or just send a few out somewhere to get professionally re coated, but that may get expensive. Have you looked at the Tapco Intrafuse Short Vertical Grip? It's got a bit more girth to it than most for a more substantial grip...
