Hello,
I'm new here.I have just purchased(didn't pick up yet) a remington versamax sportsman 12ga.
I have a question.I've read that it will handle all different types of loads, but will this gun be able to cycle using a light target load with 1oz of shot?
My benelli won't cycle using that light of a load.I own quite a few remingtons and love them all.I'd also like to know what everyones opinion is on this gun?

Thanks for your input.

Welcome to the Remington Owners Forum !!

Best way to find out the answer is to test your shotgun with the load in question...

yeah I just figured maybe someone may have tried it already.I'll be bringing it to the trap range this coming Sunday.I'll find out definitely then as I handload my own shotshells.I'll let you know whether it works or not.

I shoot 1 ounce lead and cheap 1 ounce steel loads out of mine almost constantly, except when i am waterfowl hunting!
My VM does not care what you feed it!
We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing!
