About three years ago I was working at a large intersection of multi-lane highways when I noticed a lead tire weight lying along the edge of the road. "Ooooohhhh," (I said to myself), "a WHEELWEIGHT!!!"

And then I spotted another, and another...... "Holy Crap!"

Since then I have returned to that intersection every few months (and others as well) and I always find some new bullet lead laying there.

Here is what I found this past Wednesday morning when the sun came up:

The BIG ONE is a truck tire weight weighing a quarter pound! That's going to make fourteen FREE 124-gr 9mm bullets all by itself.

Gentlemen,i smelt my own muzzleloading maxi hunters,and the lead an old friend of mine gave me to use is the perfect hardness for bullets. It is old water pipes from houses he tore down,and he has over a ton out in the shed.So far i have harvested six deer with the rounds,and anchored each one.And i wont tell you about the coyote i shot with one,it was a mess.If you can find some at a scrap yard or somewhere,i highly recomend it. If i cast my own pitol bullets i bet it would be perfect also.
