Has anyone added one of those high ribs onto the Remington 1100 (e.g., http://addarib.com) for trap shooting. The add-on rib supposedly helps direct the shooter to point, rather than aim the SG at the clays. I was wondering whether the add-on is a good idea or just a flashy piece of fluff.

Cool, I never even knew such things existed.....so no, I have no experience or feedback about them.

As long as they stay securely in place I don't see why they wouldn't work.

The ribs work fine, but be aware most people require a corresponding raise in stock height.
If you don't have an adjustable stock or at least a monte carlo trap stock it's unlikely that you will be able to see over the back of the rib.
