Have been shooting my newly aquired 1979 1100 at clays , just using 2 shells , no problem.
This morning I was up at silly o clock trying to bag a problem fox which failed to appear.
On this occasion I loaded 1 up the spout and 2 in the mag.
When I went to unload the first shell ejected and the 2nd came up as it should but the 3rd came 1/2 out of the mag and jammed the action. Tried it several times same result.
Any suggestions?

Make sure the magazine tube, spring, and follower are clean and in good shape. Next check the interceptor latch, and especially the spring.

Followed your advice Virginiian but in reverse order.......which was just as well because the inteceptor latch is NOT there

$50 to put right but at least it's one less part to break.

I wonder , with it being an imported Skeet model.if the interceptor latch was ever there?

So this 1100 is now my dedicated 2 shot clay gun ! Problem solved !

Am picking up another 1100 this week and will be checking all the bits are there !

Good for you Robertt. 1100's are my favorite and gonna keep my eye open for a decent used LT 20. This older quality stuff can be hard to find in my area. Can't blame people for holding onto these gems.

There's alot of 12g sleepers starting to come out of the woodwork here at very reasonable prices.

I can only imagine its the older generation letting them go or sadly falling off the end of lifes conveyer belt.

20g's are fairly expensive and generally go for about $500 ish in the UK.

I'd love a 16g but they're as rare as rocking horse poop here. I've never even seen one for salle.

BTW shot 100 28g shells today whilst teaching my youngest.
