Hey everyone,
I'm new here... I just picked up a 700 SPS Tac 20" in .308. I cannot wait for the weather to break in my neck of the woods so I can get this thing shooting!

I would like to ask a quick question about loading the magazine. I'm finding that the cartridges are not always seating correctly (flat) and the 4th cartridge isn't going all the way in causing the bolt to catch it when I try to close on the 5th round (in the chamber).

I did take it back to the store and they said they had it working just fine. Remington said (I was dealing with my wife's 700 and the trigger recall) it could be the spring and they are sending a new one out.

But, I figured I'd pose the question here and see what you guys thought. I can't wait to get shooting!
