I want to buy an 1100, and it's between the Competition & Classic Trap models - with the Competition being $500 more. Only be a novice trap shooter at best - I cannot imagine a $500 value to me, but figure it's better to ask before buying. Can anyone tell me if it's worth paying the extra money for the Competition model?

For me I would still go with the competition over the classic trap because yes its a big price different but you are already thinking about getting it and will likely regret not purchasing it. That is just my .02cents. Plus there are some nice added features with the competition.

Well Mike, if it was me, I'd go with the Classic and use the money saved ( $500 ) to either buy ammo or another firearm...and not look back.
And that's my opinion...YMMV...let's us know what YOU decide ! ![]() |

There's not a lot of guns stores in the area, and no place I call have both the guns for me to see side by side, and I'm sure if I ask in-store - the answer will be in an attempt to sell the one they carry. The Remington.com compare feature is very vague, so I have no idea what additional features the Competition model even has. I'd consider the higher price if the features are long the lines of improving shooting scores, and not just looks or personal preference type stuff
