Hi guys, I have the AAC-SD model 700 (.308Win). I'm not sure which weight bullet heads to use, or what speed I need to be firing them. Note: I am in South Africa, so if someone could give me a load with Somchem powder, that would be even better!

Hi. Welcome to the forum.

Nice rifle.

I love to load .308 Win but all I use here in the US for powder is what is available, mostly Hodgdon and IMR brands.

Bullet weight really depends on the expected range(s) at which you shoot and what your rifle shows a preference for. Do you know your barrels rate-of-twist? I'm assuming 1:10 twist? I would concentrate on 168-175 grain bullets but would also give 150s and 155s a try for short-range stuff.
