In the late 50’s, early 60’s, my dad bought two shotguns for my stepbrother. Both were 20 ga. Remingtons. Anyway I have the automatic and a cousin has the pump. I’ve shot mine every year since I was a teenager(im52) at snakes, doves, rabbits, etc. so anyway, I shot it a few minutes ago and the cylinder will not close. We are thinking a worn out part. But if I could find out something about the year it was made, maybe we could figure out the problem without having to take it to a gunsmith.
