I am looking to convert my rem 700 adl to a removable mag, is it just as easy as buying the stock or will I need a conversion kit of some kind. Looking to build a tactical style rifle.

There are a few more parts than just the stock. You'll need the magwell insert, the magazines and the bottom floorplate that is magazine-capable.
