All you have to do is carve your new male-type stock in to a female-type if you will, you just carve it out with a dremel and it will fit. If you want to eliminate the gap between trigger assembly and the handle you will have to fabricate some and it needs to be quite specific so you can still disassemble the gun without taking your stock off.

Heres few pics of the rough design. Could use some more finishing if i wanted it perfect. This way you can minimize the gap while still being able to disassemble the gun. I used filler to fabricate the gap remover because its very easy to work on, will make a new one with some more durable material if this starts to break up.

I know is post is old, but after looking around awhile for my 887 I found a place that has Ati stocks for the 887 model. I lucked out and got a ATI pistol grip/colapsable stock. It's pretty sweet now. I was going to get rid of the gun but glad I didn't now!
The place I found was www.rocksolidshotgun.com

I tried cutting my own out bit ruined it so I
Hope this helps everyone!

I also just ordered one from rocksolidshotgun.com, I just don't know if those people are still active or not. Still waiting for a reply. They seem to do good work.

(Edit) I just spoke to the manager of Rocksolidshotgun.com and I should be getting the new stock in a couple of weeks. I'll post a picture of how it looks and review it. Old post, but this company should bring life back to the 887.

Looks good!

I might also buy this, i like the idea of telescopic stock that also eliminates the gap between trigger guard and the grip.

Im just worried if you have to remove the stock to be able to strip the gun because trigger group doesnt seem to have enough room to fall out unless you can easily remove the grip only from the stock.

Also ordered ATI stock but not from those guys, the price is a ripoff. 99$ for an adaptor that only took 10 mins of an angle grinder and spray paint to modify?

Got an unmodified one for 120 dollars and will upload some pics when im done fabricating it to fit the 887.

Stripping the gun shouldn't be an issue because the ATI stock as a quick locking mechanism to take the stock off.
