Yeah, I've banned about a half dozen accounts today. I noticed that Ripjack13 has also banned a bunch too.

Looks like they're from Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, and a bunch of other European places.

Don't click on any of their links if they sneak any in.

If you guys notice anything, please hit the report post and let us know.

I switched the setting to admin approval. So, I have about a million emails to sort through now....

I've went through 8 or 9 already, not counting the ones that registered last night.

I just counted. Only 246....lol

I'm not getting nowhere near that many notifications.

I don't even see that many listed under new accts in the admin page.

Inactive accounts. I deleted a bunch. 25 at a time....

I'll log in monday and do the rest. I cant do it on my tablet. It's a pita. On the pc i can open up 3 pages then ban/search their email....and on my second screen, i have a browser with a dozen of their pages at a time and cut n paste their user name onto the search member page.

OK, I just went through it and deleted about 40. But I made sure they were actually banned first, so all the inactive accounts are cleared up.

Looks like most of them were already banned today. They were coming in until about an hour ago all through this evening. For a while, I was getting a new notification about every 30 minutes or so. The new inactive accounts only went back through yesterday though in the administrator panel.

I got a couple from Moscow, Vietnam, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, South America, Mexico, Amsterdam, etc.

There were a bunch of them.

Appreciated! Spam crap no one needs.

Over 300 spammers canned....that's just one friggin day!

Yeah, I got another 25 or so about 9AM. Only one account looked legitimate.

There's a couple more in the que right now, but I'll wait until later this evening and until the basket gets full. No need wasting time doing it on an "as they sign up" basis.

They're not going anywhere. They cant' log in until they're cleared by an admin. I have better things to do for now.

Another forum I belong to has been bombarded with Chinese spam. Pages and pages of it. It's the new form of stuffing envelopes in a get-rich-quick scheme.

I banned the ip bulk majority of those scum. Now the new ones are from Pakistan and Asia.

Looks like we have been invaded by spam junk again. with Nike crap or whatever nonsense. Am sure the mods will eradicate them. Only interested in things that go BANG around here.

All spammers are banned as soon as I notice them.

I've cleaned up several spam posts this week. Many within minutes of them posting and many before even getting any views.

But with yesterday being Christmas eve, which I spent with my family, and today doing the same, I have not stayed on top of it as I usually do.
