Sorta kinda..

I friend asked me if I wanted to join in on tower shoot this weekend. Never done that before so I thought I would give it a go. I'm in dire need of some shooting and outdoor time.

I guess the tower shoot takes place in the morning and then we will hit the field for any strays after lunch.

Sounds fun! My season ended last November. Use my 1100 for upland. Good luck

Good deal.

Oh, how much I miss bird hunting in my hills.

Sadly, the coyotes that run rampant have decimated the grouse population.

I have seen a grand total of 3 grouse in the last decade and a half.

Sounds like time to take up some 'Yote thinning operations.

I have no problem with that.

However, it's not as easy done as it is said.

Went out with my 1187 using the new Hevi Bismuth Upland shells
I was so impressed with the knockdown power + the extended
ranges that I was able to take flushing pheasants.
