1100 LT-20 jam

My 1100 LT-20 ejects the spent case perfectly but both shells in the magazine attempt to come out creating a jam. This occurs with light and heavy loads. Weapon was thoroughly cleaned. Any thoughts or suggestions?

First guess would be a worn, damaged or unsprung shell stop as it seems as though it is being machanically cammed over, then not returning to stop the next cartridge. I hope The Virginian sees your post as he will no doubt have the definitive answer, good luck

Assuming it works fine with only one round in the magazine, my first thing would be to look at the interceptor latch and spring. It may just be dirty, but those springs have been known to break. The interceptor is what controls the feed to one round at a time out of the magazine.

I checked and the latch and spring are intact and the spring seems to move the latch normally. However, the latch retaining ring seems to be missing. Could this be causing the problem. OBTW I haven’t tried it with only one shell in the magazine.
Thanks

Without the retainer it can twist. Try it with one round in the magazine and order a new retainer - F15398 1100 INTERCEPTOR LATCH RETAINER - $4.12
