How's your RP9 doing?

With the poor reviews and all the negative comments (over 90% by people who probably never picked one up or shot one) how's is yours doing? I picked one up last Nov and after 150-200 rounds it has smoothed out from a couple of failures to go into battery and hold open.

You must be lucky. I've put about 300+ rounds through my RP9 sent it in for malfunction of the slide stop. It came back and still on lock after last round fired the stop only engages minimally and goes to battery when inserting another magazine. Or if just putting it on the bench on it's left side it will go to battery. I kind of think it's not the mag or slide stop spring but could it be a too strong recoil spring that is sapping energy that could push the slide back farther(??????). Looking for a local gunsmith that might be able to help since Remington can't seem to be of any.

Thought I was subscribed to this topic but wasn't. All fixed now.

I did a light spray of dry lube on inside of slide and particularly in the rail groves and on the rail tabs with a patch.
