RM380 Update

I haven't posted here in a while, and thought I'd post an update on my pistol after several more range trips and, by now, at least 500 rounds downrange.
1) I've finally figured out my inaccuracy issues with the Remington, and it should be filed under "Rookie Mistake." In a quest to get better sight acquisition, I painted the front ramp with fluorescent orange paint. Seemed great in theory, but what I ended up doing was catching too much front sight in my sight picture. I removed paint, took it back out to the range, and--voila--the little gun is pretty damn accurate after all!
2) With all the Galloway upgrades in place, and after about 500 rounds downrange and at least that many dry fires, the RM380 actually has a very pleasant and not-at-all heavy trigger. I'm guessing it's in the 7-pound range at this point, but also extremely smooth and easy to stage. Even follow-up shots are easy now.
3) The RM380 may be the most reliable semi-automatic I have ever owned. It feeds everything I throw at it, even when dirty, and I've yet see a single malfunction (caveat: I did have a couple of failures to feed with the Galloway +1 mag base, alway with the last round. My suspicion is that I could remedy this with a stronger mag spring, but I just decided to switch back to OEM, and we're back to 100% functionality.)
4) Overall, this is just one gem of an EDC pistol that just happens to be fun to shoot and easy to operate at the range.
