How I got an extended baseplate for the 380

I really wanted to swap out the flat base plate with an extended one, but I could not find any for sale anywhere. I emailed Remington Customer Service and did not the courtesy of a reply. The Companies sales are way off in 2017 and I bet poor CS helped that along.
Anyway, after exhausting all search efforts I decided to innovate. I bought a magazine on eBay for $22 which included shipping. It came with the flat and extended base plates. I kept the flat one and swapped it out on my flat base magazine.
Then I sold the new magazine with the flat base only on eBay for $18 plus postage. So my cost for the extension was $4. I was ready to pay more tha that for the extension if I could have found one.
So I have a flat baseplate if anyone prefers them. No charge. Just PM me with an address and I will send it to you. Based upon the activity here (what a shame) do not expect to get much interest to keep things fair: First come first served.
