No, but give me a week or so and maybe I can oblige (but it won't be pretty).
I'm gonna run my RM380 against my Pico, G42, and my brand new Kel Tec P3AT. (Yes, I'm obsessed about finding the "perfect" micro pistol).
Like always, I'm rooting for the RM380, but--as reliable as it is--I really can't justify putting it above the others if I can't consistently shoot tight groups with it under combat simulation.
Okay...I messed up. I shot all my .380s today, and in the heat of the moment forgot to take a picture of my RM380's target after I had sent a few magazines downrange.
But the results, as predicted, weren't pretty. At 7 yards, shooting a hurried but not reckless pace, my group (pretty tight) was at least 6" high and a bit to the right. I can't imagine that the pistol is this inherently inaccurate, and I have to assume that I am somehow messing up the sight picture. It is the only pistol I own with this type of sight (although my Kel Tec is similar), and I may need to recalibrate what I need to be seeing when the trigger breaks.
BTW, of all my micro-pistols, both past and present, it is by far the most reliable. Both stock and with the Galloway upgrades, it is still failure-free with every type of ammo I throw at it. And the trigger is actually decent now, and has lightened just enough that double-taps are consistently manageable.
My intellectual side tells me that almost any gun confrontation is going to be within three yards, and done without a sight picture anyway. But my emotional side keeps telling me not to trust a pistol that can't hit where I point it. She's a pretty thing after a few custom touches, so I sure would hate to part with her...
