I'm trying to identify a Remington model 700 30.06. It's an ADL with no sights on the barrel, but it is set up for mounting a scope. What is unusual about this rifle is that it has the fleur di lis checkering on it. It has a 22" barrel on it. It is new in the box. Any idea of the value of this rifle? The serial number begins with a "G", telling me it's a new gun, built this year. The stock appears to be walnut - definitely not synthetic. What's throwing me off on getting any good results ID'ing this rifle is the fleur di lis checkering. Even the Remington web site doesn't show this model, just the 50th anniversary model BDL, which this definitely is not. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Remington Owners Forum HSC !!

...and thank you for your service to our great country !!

Please post a picture of the rifle with a close-up of the fleur di lis and I will see if I can assist.

( BTW...Remington will produce all kinds of special runs / features not shown in any catalog / website.

The 50th anniversary Model 700 BDL and the Model 11-87 shotgun being some of the firearms with fleur di lis checkering apprearing on the stock. )
