I have the 870 express Magnum with 26" RemChoke barrel.

Between skeet shooting and hunting I've put many many 1000's of rounds through this gun. The only issue I've ever has is a small crack in the stock which was easily glued. Many a clay pigeon and grouse have fallen to this one.

I put the red dot on it for deer hunting but ended up using a different gun last season.

I picked up the 21" turkey barrel a year or so ago.

This gun has now been slated for an upgrade. I'm in the process of accumulating the parts to make it a HD gun (i.e. short LOP stock, extended mag tube, etc.). Some time in Feb a buddy and I are having a "build party" where i'll be putting it all together. Don't worry, I'll post pics! ;-D

Very nice! What mount are you using? I'll be looking forward to the update, I am also in the process of converting my 870 into an HD gun.

I honestly don't know. I've had it a long time, just never used it. I think it was made by Remington.

870 Police Magnum..."Tower Gun"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's Tower as in Guard tower.
28"bbl/full choke
Looks like any other parked 870 except for the POLICE MAGNUM stamp and the ramped front bead sight.
Made in 1996 according to Remington.
I pick it up from a local gun shop a few years ago and have since thrown the box away and have put a shorter barrel and mag extension on her.

Brand new. Raw wood. Not finished. Not shellacked. But it's blued and not anodized. I don't think it is a former PD 870P, I think it was a P Magnum but served no service.

I've got an 870 Express, the standard model with laminated furniture. I'm not sure if it's blued or parkerized. I thought it was matte blued, but the finish on the reciever looks almost exactly the same as on a parkerized Auto-Ordnance 1911A1 I saw last week. Anyone have a relatively new (2009) 870 Express that's parkerized?

I have an 870 Wingmaster that was given to me by a friend for helping him. I contacted Remington and they said it's from 1965. It has a full choke barrel the barrel is stamped "Simmons Gun Specialties Kansas City MO"

Here it is along with my other Remingtons

12 ga Express Super Magnum. I don't really need the 3 & 1/2" capability, but the price was right at the pawn shop, and it was the only 870 they had. It serial numbers to early production, around 1999.
Nothing fancy, just a standard bird gun.

I have the basic 870 Express synthetic with fixed cyl choke. 18.5" barrel for HD primarily but have done birds and clay with it. It came with black stock and fore grip, bit I changed them to the sure shot camo, which I like a lot.
