Hey guys,
My name is Nico and I have just been added to the Remington family with my Dad passing down his Remington model 1100 shotgun to me. This is my first ever shotgun and I can't wait to start running loads through it. Currently I'm studying Sports and Entertainment management at the University of South Carolina GO COCKS! While the season will be coming to the end during this spring semester, I hope to get out as much as possible. I'll be hunting the lower part of the state and hopefully some cold weather will bring some more flappers out. Below are some quick pictures I snapped to put up here for yall. My dad used this gun as a deer gun so it has a slug barrel and a side mounted scope *which I have taken off because I want to convert it to a waterfowling gun.* After a few days of research and many calls, I haven't had any luck finding a 26'', 28'' Vent rib barrel for it and honestly paying 250+ for a new barrel is hard to pull off with a college budget! *I might as well buy an 870.* If anyone on here has one laying around I would love to get it from you! Also I need the stock receiver screws (2) because he has larger screws to mount the scope. Anyway any information, help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Happy shooting!
Nico

Welcome, Nico. We're mighty glad to have you. Hope to see you here often, and please jump right in by posting more about your 1100 and any other firearms you have or might be getting.
Would love to read about your waterfowl hunting experience.
