Most of the harris bipods can attach to a sling stud so you should not need an adaptor to attach it to your Remington R-25 autoloader. Did you decide what harris bipod you wanted to go with yet?

I was thinking about the HBR 6 to 9 inch raise. Is that a good one, or should I go with something else?

Also, I have a scope on there and want to put on a laser sight. How can I get another base on there to do this?

I personally use the Harris BRM-S which is the 6-9" that has the ability to swivel side to side. I find this extremely helpful in the field.

What is your reasoning for wanting a laser sight if you don't mind me asking? What are you using this Remington R-25 for?

I'm just using it at the range right now but I am going to use it for hunting during the summer. I just got it a month ago and want to put some accessories on it.

Personally I am not a huge fan of lasers on rifles but that is just me. I run lasers on my pistols but on rifles I tend to run scopes, iron sights, red dots, etc.

Alright...I'm sure the scope will be enough. Thanks for all the help!

It's very nice. Haven't had the time to take it out and shoot it yet. Hopefully will get out with it next week and see how it goes.

Mate of mine shot this young red stag with his R-25 .243 a couple of weeks ago.

He is the ONLY guy I know of this side of the Pond with one, and he had a major hassle getting one licenced as SA Rifle bigger than .22lr here are considered WMD

I'll have to lure him over to the remington owners club ;)

Nice stag! That must be so frustrating to deal with firearm laws being so restrictive. I have a hard enough time with NY restrictions.

Tell me about it, we DO NOT have the second ammendment, it is an extreme priv over here.

One has to go cap in hand to the Local Gardaí (what you guys call Police) and beg.

We are also restricted in Calibres, 7.62mm/.30 Cal's are the biggest we can licence.
It can take up to 3 months to get a rifle Licence, some have had to weight longer.

A couple of guys sneaked .300 Win Mags through as the local Poliec did not know the difference and thought .308 was bigger than .300

Real nice addition to an already beautiful firearm cowboy65 !!

And Tack...we here remain vigilante of our 2nd admendment rights everyday for there are anti-gun nuts in every level of government seeking to make us submissive to their will...

Not on my watch...!!

Hi there I am from Northern Ireland and came across the pond 11 years ago, I love this Country! it really is the land of the free! My son has been trying to get an R25 for a year now (he still lives over there) and he says it is next to impossible

You should be able to use any forend that fits a SR25 or AR10 rifles. Do you have a specific style of forend that you like?

Not really this is the first AR platform Rifle I have owned, I use a 700 BDL at work so this platform is new to me, I would like to be able to change bipods quickly so the pic. rails would seem a great option

This may be something your looking for https://danieldefense.com/rail-systems/ ... rifle.html There is a ton of companies out there that make rails for them. Do you have a price range that your looking at, also does it matter if it is free-floated or not?
