I ordered my new rifle online last Friday, and not-so patiently waiting for the call to come in to claim it. I'm super excited to try this weapon out; it will be my first hunting rifle.

47 years old this year, and just now getting into something I've dreamed about.

Hope you are as satisfied with yours and I am with mine. Bought my ADL back in 84 when walnut was still the norm on em. Glad they decided to install sling swivels on the 1984 ADL models. Paid under $350 for mine back then. Hope to hear a range report when ya get it.

Surprised Remington is still making the ADL even if the stock is synthetic. Well worth the extra bucks in my opinion. My older 700 seems more like a high end model these days with all the budget stuff out there today. Wow the nice features we took for granted years back are now a lot more rare and expensive if purchased new now.
