Been a member since I bought my R51 Gen 1 in 2014, just never introduced myself. Found the site while searching for a good R51 blog. Had to return the Gen 1, got a Gen 2, had issues with it and returned it. Remington is going to give me a new pistol (third time's a charm?). I really like the R51, just need to get one that works all the time.

Anyways, about me. Retired Air Force (26 years) Explosive Ordnance Disposal tech and Desert Storm vet. My name here is my motorcycle road name, given to me for riding cross country a couple of times. I have been shooting for most of my life, just recently getting into traditional muzzleloaders for hunting and range use. Still like the modern stuff, just find the muzzleloader a different way to shoot. Living in Colorado you can really channel your inner "mountain man" while hunting in the mountains with a Hawken (TC brand) rifle.

Guess that's about it. I look forward to talking to the group and sharing experiences and ideas.

I was the Operations NCOIC at Redstone Arsenal for the Army EOD training company several years ago. You must be one very smart and tough dude!

Nitesite, I don't know about either. I had a great career but the really bad stuff that EOD got involved with happened after I retired (pre-9/11). I hoped to be recalled but that didn't happen. Thanks for the complement though.
