I don't see the pin as any problem. It will not fall out or cause a jam under normal conditions. I have 100% confidence in my RM380 to perform when needed. I carry mine in a pocket holster loaded with 1 in the chamber and ready to defend me if needed. If anyone is having malfunctions it is not the gun but the operator. If you have any doubts just go shoot a RM380 for yourself. Be sure to put a 100 rounds of any ammo of your choice, it will eat anything you put in the magazine without failure or jams.

I bought a set of these although I did not have any trouble with the original pin. The new stainless steel one works fine and is easier to get lined up on reassembly. The RM380 is in my carry rotation and I have the utmost confidence in the operation of the gun.
