Hi all, new here to this forum. I recently acquired a 1942 model 121 that I want through and cleaned.
I took it to shoot and it cycles and fires but won't eject the empty case. After some research it seems that the firing pin is also the ejector
The plunger is fine but I am thinking maybe the firing pin may be worn and not long enough to eject?
Also is it safe to cycle live rounds? Seems to me there would be a chance of it going off on the back stroke?
Any input would be appreciated , Mike.

As to your question...with safety being paramount to any shooter, I DO NOT recommend cycling live rounds through that firearm in the condition it has been described...
Just take it to a competent gunsmith to be thoroughly checked out. |
