Took my new 1911R1 to the range for the first time today. Put 100 rounds of Winchester Service Grade 230 grain ball through her with absolutely zero problems. Accurate as all get-out. At this point, I'm thinking that range time is going to be split between it and my CZ-USA 1911A1 and my Colts are going to become safe queens! :D

Kevin, then I'm guilty, too. :o I've been to the range with my R1 Commander, but have no targets to show. I mentioned in another thread that normally the range is "HOT" when I pack up and go, so I have to leave 'em hangin'. Will try better next trip. ;)
